
Matthew McConaughey has talked about the chest beating scene in The Wolf of Wall Street, which has become one of the most talked-about parts of the film. While promoting his new film Dallas Buyers Club, the actor explained where the chest thump idea came from: “It’s something I do from time to time to relax myself before a scene or get my voice lowered and I was doing it before takes and Leonardo had the idea of saying ‘why don’t you put that in the scene’ and so I did.” He also added that the director Martin Scorsese loved the idea.
